At the IEEE EMC Symposium last week, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, several people I spoke to talked about the upswings in their EMC business, and where this growth is coming from. Certainly, the mobile/ wireless computing segment came up on people’s radars, and in particular for the testing and components end of our industry. The other common answer was – Europe. Although Europe’s economic recovery may have lagged behind other parts of the world in 2010, several US and European EMC suppliers are now seeing increased for the second half of 2010, and further growth into 2011. This echoes the study of the European EMC market, that Interference Technology completed in May. Approximately 45 suppliers participated (from both sides of the pond!) , and overall indications from them were for between 5% and 20% over the next three year period. And a third of the companies we surveyed are predicting growth of between 50% and 400% in some areas over this next three period. Here are the contents of the report (below).

Download our valuable Europe EMC Market which takes a detailed look at the European EMC Market.
The report details the results of a survey of approx. 100 EMI Component, Material, Equipment and Service Suppliers who actively sell products and services to the global EMC market. The reports looks at how much business these companies currently derive from Europe versus other regions of the world, which countries provide the most business currently, and which countries suppliers predict will provide the best growth in the future.
