Officials at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) have outlined eight potential impacts of a Department of Energy solar energy project on NAWCWD’s testing at the Naval Air Weapons Station. The Navy facility is located in the Indian Wells Valley in California which, The News Review says, offers the Navy unlimited visibility and low electromagnetic interference.
