VersaClock III devices from Integrated Device Technology (IDT) are the newest addition to the VersaClock™ family of programmable clock generators specifically crafted for use in high performance consumer electronics, telecom, networking, and data communications systems. To boost design flexibility, the VersaClock III family features four internal PLLs (phase locked loops), each individually programmable and able to generate four unique frequencies. EMI-reducing spread spectrum technology is available on two of the PLLs to ensure high signal integrity. VCXO versions are available to achieve compatibility with industry timing standards. An I2C interface provides programming during normal operation, and an external EEPROM allows the user to save and to restore configuration of the device without the need for reprogramming on power-up. The VersaClock III features low jitter and clock redundancy, with a glitchless automatic or manual switchover function that allows the use of a secondary clock source to be selected in the event of a clock error.Find more product details on the IDT website.
