The series FMAC ECO and FMBC ECO from Schurter Electronic Components are compact, cost-optimized filters that feature Schurter’s ECO design. They are especially well suited to drive systems, engineering installations, and any application in which frequency inverters cause electromagnetic disturbances. These filters have been configured for use with 480-VAC installations and are available in single or two-stage versions. The FMAC ECO single-stage filter is available from 10 A while the two-stage FMBC ECO filter is available from 8 A. The FMBC ECO series has a leakage current of 5 mA so it is well suited to use in installations equipped with residual current circuit breakers. These filters can be mounted lengthwise of upright thus allowing for maximum design flexibility.
