IEC 61000-4-17 Ed. 1.2 (2009-01) is “Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) – Part 4-17: Testing and measurement techniques – Ripple on DC input power port immunity test.” This standard defines test methods for immunity to ripple at the DC power port of electrical or electronic equipment. It applies to low-voltage DC power ports of equipment supplied by external rectifier systems or by batteries that are being charged. This standard defines test voltage waveform, the range of test levels, the test generator, test set-up, and the test procedure. This consolidated version consists of the first edition (1999), its amendment 1 (2001), and its amendment 2 (2008), eliminating the need to order amendments in addition to this publication. For more information, or to order this standards go to the IEC website.
