The DVMN28 from VPT, Inc. is a combination EMI filter and transient suppression module that meets stringent standards for the U.S. and Europe. Providing 10 amps of current in a standard quarter brick package, the DVMN28 meets the requirements of the commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and is available immediately from stock. Product features include 0- to 50-V input, 68 dBs minimum attenuation at 500 kHz, a soft start feature for smooth startup, approximately 90 percent efficiency; under-voltage lockout circuitry for safe operation, and an output inhibit for shutdown of downstream converters in case of a prolonged input overvoltage. Output voltage clamps at 58 volts maximum, and maximum output current is 10 amps maximum. These devices meet MIL-STD-704-A, B, C, and D surge limits, as well as MIL-STD-461D CE102 and DEF STAN 59-41 and 61-5 EMC requirements. They protect against the conducted susceptibility specified in MIL-STD-461C, CS01 and CS02 and against the voltage spikes specified in MIL-STD-461C CS 06. These modules come in a fully potted, rugged case and operate in the military temperature range of –55 degrees C to +100 degrees C. Find further product details at the VPTwebsite.
