The new MilQor® product line of DC/DC converters and complementary EMI filters from SynQor has been crafted specifically for the high-reliability marketplace and are manufactured in an AS9100B-certified facility in the U.S.A. With proprietary QorSeal™ packaging that ensures survivability in harsh environments, these devices are compatible with industry-standard formats, but dissipate only half the heat with breakthrough efficiency levels of >90 percent. The product line addresses both the 28-V and 270-V power systems. The units operate at full power from –55 degrees C to +120 degrees C. The MilQor EMI filters are available with passive components only, or with additional active circuitry that provides surge/spike protection, soft-start inrush limiting, reverse polarity protection, holdup capacitor pre-charging, and signal pass-through capability. They are available in standard and extended input voltage ranges. All filters provide >80 dB of differential attenuation (and >60 dB of common-mode attenuation) at 500 Hz, and they include stabilizing bulk capacitors and damping resistors. All capacitors are X7R ceramics. Used together, the MilQor® DC/DC converters and the MilQor EMI filters permit compliance with MIL-STD-704-(A-F),
RTCA/DO-160-E (Section 16), MIL-STD-1275B, and DEF-STAN 61-5 (6/5), as well as MIL-STD-461 (C-E) and RTCA/DO-160E (Section 22; lightning).
