Pre-assembled for Profibus and Ethernet users, the M12 shielded panel mount male or female connectors from Binder-USA offer a receptacle that is attached to a shielded cable with a twisted pair of AWG twisted wires. The Profibus receptacles come in front- or rear-mount designs for attachment to control cabinets. The die-cast zinc housing has a galvanic connection to the braided shield of the cable to protect from EMI. The IP 67-rated interconnects are currently offered in the B-coded version with a standard cable length of 0.5 meters, and each socket connector is compatible with matching B-coded field attachable connectors and cord sets from Binder-USA. The connectors have two gold-plated contacts crimped to a twisted pair of wires and exhibit a rated current of 4 amps at a maximum operating voltage of 250 V.
