At the recent Automotive Technology 2008 show, a booth featuring information from well known testing firm TÜV SÜD Ohtama, Ltd. and Interference Technology Japan, a unique online publication devoted to EMI/EMC, drew a sizeable group of enthusiastic visitors. Of course, a number of show visitors who stopped by the booth were already subscribers, but a gratifying number—133 to be exact—signed on as new subscribers. Another point we found significant was that 84 of these new subscribers devoted a portion of their finite time at this major show to watch the presentation by TÜV SÜD Ohtama, Ltd. or to answer detailed questions probing their particular professional interests and concerns—a sure indication of their awareness of testing to insure EMC compliance. Launched in 2007, Interference Technology Japan reaches over 3000 EMI/EMC professionals in the world’s third largest electronics market. To learn more about IT Japan, contactBob Poust.
