The JB Series antennas from Sunol Sciences Corporation are compact instruments for EMC emissions and immunity testing. The antennas’ broadband characteristics allow operation over a wide frequency range—a necessity in automated test environments. The antenna boom is made from a custom aluminum extrusion that reduces the number of parts at the nose, resulting in stable feedback and excellent cross-polarization properties. A unique shape allows for a large feeder cable to be used, which significantly increases the maximum power rating. Dipole elements are permanently attached to the boom using an assembly technique that preserves excellent electrical characteristics. The low-frequency wings are swept forward and turned in at the ends to reduce ground plain coupling while maintaining performance. A tough powder-coat finish with UV inhibitors seals the aluminum structure and protects it from sunlight and moisture.Find more product information at the Sunol Sciences’ website.
