L-3 Communications announced this week that it has acquired the assets of MITEQ, Inc. for $41 million dollars. The new organization will be called L-3 Narda-Miteq and will be located in Hauppauge, N.Y.
This merger is expected to generate more than $60 million dollars in sales and employ more than 700 people. L-3 Narda-Miteq will offer RF Microwave solutions and low-power SATCOM products for commercial, government, and military industries.
“Miteq adds key products, technical capabilities and other synergies, strong engineering talent and new customers to L-3’s Advanced Communications sector within our Communication Systems segment. Together, Narda-Miteq is a stronger and more scalable supplier that creates cross-selling opportunities and helps us build strategic partnerships with our expanding customer base,” John S.
