Laird Technologies, a unit of Laird PLC, well known for its EMI/RFI shielding and other high tech products, has announced a corporate donation of $100, 000 for relief efforts in the earthquake devastated Chengdu Province of China. Also, individual Laird employees in China have donated a total of over 35,000 in a grass roots effort to assist their fellow countrymen. Marty Rapp, CEO of Laird Technologies noted, “The world has watched with great sadness the tragedy of the horrible earthquake in the Chengdu area. We respect and value the people impacted by this tragedy and want to be supportive of the areas in which we do business.
