MET Laboratories and AT4 Wireless have announced an agreement to cooperate on testing for mobile equipment and telecom type approvals, in order to provide clients of both companies with the opportunity for a more “complete testing solution.”
“Customers are increasingly seeking a single-source testing solution that combines regulatory and performance/conformance testing, and this agreement allows us to provide it,” Rob Frier, president of MET Laboratories, said. “We are pleased to again partner with AT4 to help telecom equipment manufacturers get their products to market as quickly and painlessly as possible.”
MET Laboratories will provide A2LA-accredited EMC, RF, safety and SAR regulatory testing and certification as required in the North American marketplace, as well as Radiated Spurious Emissions (RSE) testing for mobile communications and regulatory certification. AT4 Wireless will provide mobile communications conformance certification, type approvals and RF, Protocol, RRM and Over-the-Air testing services.
“We are very satisfied with this partnership. We have done business with MET Labs for more than 10 years now. MET has a great market reputation, experience and state-of-the-art facilities that will be able to provide our customers [with] the services they need,” Fernando E. Hardasmal, CEO of AT4 Wireless, said.
