An electromagnetic compatibility testing facility for vehicles has been opened at the Automotive Research and Testing Center in Lukang, Changhua County, Taiwan.
According to the Republic of China (ROC) Ministry of Economic Affairs, the facility is capable of providing testing for components, systems and entire vehicles. The facility is equipped with a large anechoic chamber, a reverberation room capable of holding small passenger cars and equipment for testing the power modules of electric vehicles.
The EMC testing facility has been certified by the ROC Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation, German testing and certification company TUV SUD, Spanish automotive testing company Applus Idiada Automotive Technology, the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation and several major vehicle manufacturers.
