Signal integrity expert and dean of Teledyne-LeCroy’s Signal Integrity Academy, Eric Bogatin, was voted 2016 Engineer of the Year at the recent DesignCon in Santa Clara, California last week. Sponsored by National Instruments, the award is given to an engineer demonstrating leadership and commitment to high-speed digital design.
Bogatin, based in Longmont, Colorado, has a long history of contributions to the signal integrity community. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado – Boulder. Bogatin was one of the original invitees by Hewlett-Packard to present at the first DesignCon in 1991. HP eventually transferred the conference to UBM.
