Power amplifier solutions provider Empower RF Systems, Inc. has released amplifier model BBM5K8CKT for use in electronic attack, communications and test and measurement applications.
According to the company, the new GaN-based power amplifier is “guaranteed to deliver 100W output power and related RF performance under all specified temperature and environmental conditions” and is suitable for broadband jamming and high power linear applications in the S/C bands.
The BBM5K8CKT amplifier is equipped with a number of features, including an event log and non-volatile memory for “internal diagnostics and troubleshooting”, continuous internal monitoring of “critical performance parameters” and user interface capabilities.
