Washington Laboratories, Ltd. (WWL) has announced its affiliation with the Maryland-Asia Environmental Partnership (MDAEP). WWL is a founding member of the MDAEP, an organization dedicated to solving Asia’s environmental issues by focusing the technology and organizational resources of the United States on air, water, and climate change challenges in Asia. The MDAEP’s 2009 Environmental Leadership Series focuses on industry, private-, and public sector initiatives to improve the quality of life for millions of Asia’s citizens. Efforts are premised on the conviction that environmental health is far more than a quality of life issue and that, in fact, it leads to a higher level of business engagement, to political and economic stability, and to the opportunity for U.S. firms to gain access to developing markets. For more on this unique partnership, visit the WWL website.
