After more than a year in the dark, WAGE Radio, which has served as the local radio stations for Loudon County, Va., for more than 50 years, is preparing to re-open with three new 195-foot lattice-tower AM radio transmitter towers, a $2 million cost being footed by owner Potomac Radio. After the towers are completed within the next two weeks, the station will run a set of test radio transmissions to assure there is no electromagnetic signal interference with neighboring businesses.
