TMD Technologies will be featuring a new range of ultra-high power pulsed TWT amplifiers for use in high intensity radiated field (HIRF) EMC testing at booth 235 during the 2014 IEEE EMC Symposium in Raleigh, N.C.
The new amplifiers have enabled EMC test laboratories to successfully generate 14,000 V/m to comply with the latest, most demanding RTCA/DO-160 test requirements, the company said. Based on TMD’s rugged radar amplifiers, these compact, lightweight rack-mounted units can also be used in passive intermodulation (PIM) testing, scientific research and medicine.
TMD’s amplifier product range extends up to 40 kW special pulsed models, covering the frequency ranges 10 kHz to 40 GHz using suites of solid state and TWT based amplifiers. TMD has also recently developed a full range of solid-state amplifiers at frequencies below 6 GHz.
