RF and microwave component supplier MITEQ is featuring several products for EMI/EMC compliance testing applications at the 2014 IEEE EMC Symposium.
Developed specifically for EMC compliance testing, MITEQ’s tabletop amplifier series of high-performance, broadband low noise amplifiers now includes a new battery-operated version, which allows for up to 10 hours of continuous use on a single charge. This amplifier series covers both the commercial/medical and military bands for emissions testing and includes 1-18, 18-40 and 1-40 GHz models. A universal wall plug in power supply is included with each TTA, which operates from 50-60 Hz / 100-240 VAC.
The LNB series of low-noise block converters supply RF down conversion from 18-40 GHz to intermediate frequencies of 2-16 GHz. Featuring a 4 dB noise figure and internal LO, the LNB series permits processing of very low level input signals and are available in either an 18-26 or 26-40 GHz model. The units are housed in a half rack case and can be powered either by 12/15 VDC or a Universal AC power supply. An external 10 MHz reference is required. An optional internal 10 MHz reference for even lower phase noise performance is also available from MITEQ.
MITEQ is also exhibiting its LNBF-2440-05 low-noise block converter, which offers a very wide instantaneous bandwidth of 16 GHz and incorporates a fixed frequency 42 GHz phase-locked local oscillator and low-phase-noise OCXO. A reference oscillator to convert the full 24 to 40 GHz RF-band down to a 2 to 18 GHz IF-band and 16 GHz instantaneous bandwidth fiber optic transmitter are also included.
