Test instrument provider Rigol Technologies has introduced the MSO4000 series mixed-signal oscilloscope designed to help users tackle more extensive signal analysis and digital decoding for testing and debugging of a wider range of analog/digital signals.
The new test and measurement scope features 16 digital and up to four analog channels at bandwidths ranging from 100 to 500 MHz, with 28 megapoints per channel memory depth in each digital channel and 140 megapoints per channel in analog channels. The device delivers sample rates of 1 gigasample per second digital and 4 gigasamples per second analog, and has a digital waveform capture rate of 85,000 waveform captures per second. Support is included for serial bus triggers (standard) and decoding (optional) for analog and digital channels.
The MSO4000 series also offers a 9 in. WVGA screen with a 256-level intensity grading display, plus several trigger functions and several connectivity choices, including LAN (LXI-C), VGA, AUX, USB Host & Device, and USB-GPIB (optional).
