(June 3, 2016) Arrow Electronics, Inc. has recently announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the global media portfolio focused on technology and electronic design from UBM.
This will include EE Times, EDN, ESM, Embedded, EBN, TechONline, and Datasheets.com, according to UBM.
“A year ago, Arrow acquired the United Technical Publishing arm of Hearst Media,” said Arrow, and with this agreement with UBM, Arrow strengthens its position for technology design trends.
“This could affect how dozens of EMI component manufacturers are going to do business in the future,” said Graham Kilshaw, chief media officer at ITEM Media.
Arrow Electronics provides products, services and solutions to industrial and commercial users of electronic components and enterprise computing solutions.
