Spectrum Control, well known manufacturer of EMI-control and other high-tech electronic products and systems, has announced that Spectrum Microwave, its wholly-owned subsidiary, has acquired substantially all the assets and has assumed certain of the liabilities of SatCon Electronics, Inc. of Marlborough, MA, a designer and manufacturer of high-performance microelectronic components. The total purchase price of the acquisition was $5.6 million.
