Siglent Technologies has introduced a new line of digital spectrum analyzers.
The SSA3000X series includes two models with frequency ranges of 9 kHz to 2.1 GHz and 9 kHz to 3.2 GHz. The new analyzers include digital intermediate frequency (IF) DSP technology for higher measurement accuracy and frequency resolution. The new analyzers have a 10-inch display with 1024×600 WVGA resolution. The minimum resolution bandwidth is 10 Hz, average DANL is -161 dBm/Hz, and total amplitude accuracy is <0.7 dB. These specifications are starting to approach the quality of a lab-grade analyzer, but in a much more portable form factor.
The product has an optional tracking generator, which would be most useful for making s11 and s21 measurements (scaler network analysis) for measuring filter response, coax cable loss, and antenna impedance match.
