Electronic solutions provider Rhode & Schwarz has released a new series of switchable step attenuators for use in the calibration of measuring instruments. According to the company, the new series includes “the world’s first step attenuator up to 67 GHz and a precision model with 0.1 dB step size offering excellent accuracy and stability.”
The new series of switchable step attenuators consists of four base unit models and two external step attenuators. Each base unit is capable of controlling four external step attenuators and are available with or without an internal step attenuator, which are available in three versions and can handle signals up to 18 GHz. The two available external step attenuators are capable of handling signals up to 67 GHz.
