TDK Corporation introduces its new series of rugged power inductors ideal for use in the automotive electronics and applications. The CLF6045NI-D wirewound SMD power inductors’ main applications include “rugged automotive environments such as the power supply circuits of engine control modules (ECM) and ECUs for airbags, ABS, and headlights,” according to the company.
The inductors are RoHS-compatible and have a wide temperature range of -55 to +150 degrees Celsius, a solderless structural design, high mechanical strength, high reliability, and high efficiency. They also offer rated inductance values from 1.0 μH to 470 μH and DC resistance values from 1.1 mΩ to 1.30 Ω.
