Windfreak Technologies, LLC announced the launch of the new SynthHD PRO, a low cost 54 MHz to 13.6 GHz dual channel microwave RF generator.
The generator is USB-controlled from a standard PC running Windows or Linux, with an option to run from Android systems, and can tune in steps of 0.1 Hz with an output level of -50 to +20 dBm. The two outputs may be programmed independently and can be adjusted from zero to 360 degrees in 0.01 degree steps. In addition, the unit has built in pulse, AM and FM modulation, including FMCW radar chirp.
The SynthHD PRO has all the features of the original SynthHD, but has a milled aluminum case designed to be used in more rugged environments and to enhance electrical and thermal performance. The new SynthHD PRO Dual Channel RF Signal Generator is also designed for higher amplitude accuracy due to extra hours on the calibration bench getting a fully unique 5000 point calibration lookup table.
