Crystek has announced it has extended the frequency range of its high performance RF coaxial cable assemblies to 50 GHz.
Ideally suited for high-frequency interconnects in mission-critical applications and microwave laboratories, the new low-loss cable assemblies (P/N series CC2450-MM-150) feature corrosion-resistant 2.4 mm 303 stainless steel connectors and provide RF shielding of >90 dB with an operating temperature range of -55° to +85ºC.
Crystek’s cables are constructed with a silver-plated copper wire center conductor, flat silver-plated copper strip inner shield, aluminum polyimide foil middle shield and silver-plated copper braid outer shield, with an ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) dielectric. The stainless steel SST connectors feature a gold-plated beryllium copper center pin, with a durability of 500 connections minimum.
The cables feature an outer diameter of 0.122″ (3.10 mm), offer a minimum bend radius of 0.40 in. and are available in standard lengths of 24 in., 39.4 in. and 48 in.
