AVX Corporation has developed a wire-to-wire (WTW) connector system for junction applications, which offers a simple and reusable method for connecting discrete wires and leaded components in electrical and electronics applications. This extension of the 9286 Series WTW connectors does not connect wires in the traditional 1:1 configuration; instead it connects numerous wires together electrically, creating a junction box.
A single power, ground or signal wire can be branched out to run multiple devices/units identically. The 9286 Series WTW connector supports 18-26AWG with up to 8 positions. The push button activation allows for stripped solid or stranded wires to be easily inserted and removed or replaced.
