Researchers from the University of Wisconsin have developed a system called Airshark that detects multiple non-Wi-Fi RF devices in real-time, allowing for immediate remediation of wireless devices to take steps to mitigate interference from non Wi-Fi devices.Airshark detects not only individual, non-Wi-Fi RF devices, but it is designed to also pinpoint simultaneously operating non-Wi-Fi devices. The researchers claim Airshark has an average detection accuracy of 91-96 percent and maintains a low false positive rate.
