Laird Technologies, Inc, a designer of performance-critical components and systems for advanced electronics and wireless products, has released its RM024 Range-Amplified MultiPoint (RAMP) wireless module for use with wireless data transportation.
The RM024 module utilizes a frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) and is available in two maximum conducted output powers of 125 milliwatts (mW) and 50 mW. The 125 mW version is approved for use in North America while the 50 mW meets CE standards and is approved for use worldwide. According to the company, the RM024 wireless module is backward compatible with the company’s LT2510 module and offers a new radio frequency front end, an improved link budget and a switchable antenna output.
