Teseq Inc., a developer of instrumentation and systems for EMC emission and immunity testing, has released the FT 5531 pulse generator for automotive EMC test systems. According to the company, the FT 5531 is an upgraded version of the TF5530 that offers improved accuracy and supports classic and modern testing standards.
The FT5531 pulse generator features a 150 ns pulse width and a tolerance of 100 ns pulses. The unit is designed using ferrites instead of inductors to reduce the overall inductance of the decoupling circuit and is fully integrated into Teseq’s AutoStar 6 immunity test management software. Teseq’s pulse generator is compliant with ISO 7637-2 and OEM standards.
