Public School Board to Test EM Safety of Wi-Fi in Schools

News

A local school board in Ontario approved the purchase of two electromagnetic field monitoring units to test its schools for electromagnetic levels before and after it phases in the use of Wi-fi. The units will allow staff in the Kawartha Pine Ridge District, which serves Northumberland and Peterborough counties, to monitor electromagnetic levels to ensure they don’t exceed limits set by Health Canada.Read more in the Peterborough Examiner.
