Semtech Corporation has announced its new RClamp0531TQ – a high-performance transient voltage suppression (TVS) device that protects automotive interfaces and aids in ESD protection. This protection device is “automotive-qualified offers unparalleled low-clamping voltage performance, an essential requirement for safeguarding the sensitive electronics common in today’s automotive infotainment and telematics systems,” according to the company.
The RClamp0531TQ is small and compact which allows users to have greater flexibility in the circuit board layout. Other features of the RClamp0531TQ include a working voltage protection of 5V, transient protection for high-speed data lines, low capacitance, and more. This protection device is also RoHS/WEEE compliant and Pb Free.
