New USB 3.1 Connectors and Accessories

Würth Elektronik eiSos now offers connectors, jacks, and cables for the new USB-3.1 standard.

The connectors have an increased data rate of 10 Gb/s instead of 5 Gb/s and a current supply of up to 5 A at 20 V. They are designed for at least 5,000 plugging cycles as well as type-C plugs and jacks (3 A/5 VDC) for at least 10,000 plugging cycles. The jacks are available for 1.0-mm and 1.6-mm circuit boards, the plugs for 0.8-mm circuit boards.

In addition, Würth Elektronik eiSos also offers a broad range of cables: USB 3.1 C male – USB 3.1 C male, USB 3.1 C male – USB 3.1 A male, USB 3.1 C male – USB 3.0 A female, and USB 3.1 C male – USB 2.0 micro B male. Free samples are available.
