TÜV Rheinland has announced the grand opening of its new testing laboratory in Irvine, California. The new 5,300 sq. ft. laboratory will offer a variety of certification programs to area manufacturers, retailers and service providers, including product safety, ZigBee Alliance and market access, smart grid, medical, lighting (including LED), information technologies and electrical equipment. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) audits and programs are also available.
An open house on Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. will offer attendees a selection of brief seminars designed to address regulations in the CSR, lightning, market access, medical and smart grid industries; a tour of the facilities, continental breakfast and lunch, and networking opportunities.
