NexTek, a company that offers protection for cable, satellite and closed circuit TV systems, has introduced its new high performance surge protector, the PTC-F02. This surge protector is “guaranteed to have zero effect on Signal & Picture quality when installed, but will also provide protection against up to 20,000 amps of lightning energy if there is a strike nearby,” according to the company.
Features of the PTC-F02 include maximum surge protection at 20kA, a 90v gas discharge tube, strike protection at 10kA, a low insertion loss of 0.15 and more. The surge protector also has nickel plated brass and bronze/silver pin construction.
