ALLTEC has just announced its new Dynashield ADSx2F to its series of AC Surge Protection Devices. This device is tougher, more compact and weigh less than previous devices. It’s the first product in the ADSx family that will provide a “greater standard of protection for mission critical infrastructure,” according to the company.
The Dynashield ADSx2F is “fast responding, high current handling devices designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment and systems from damaging transient surge events. The SPDs are designed with individual thermally protected MOV technology and are Listed to ANSI/UL 1449 3rd Edition as Type 2 suppressors.” The device also includes great voltage protection, a 200 kAIC Fault current rating, ability to ease EMI/RFI noise up to -50dB, and high luminosity blue LEDS.
“Designed especially for harsh environments such as found in Oil & Gas, Industrial Automation, Water / Waste Water or Telecom Communication sites, all models are offered in several NEMA 4X enclosures; Polycarbonate, painted steel or Stainless Steel,” the company said.
