AR recently introduced a set of new solid state broadband E-field sources with integrated horn antennas designed to replace traveling wave tube (TWT) amplifiers for immunity testing. The new E-filed sources are controlled by a master controller. There are two frequency ranges; 18 to 26.5 GHz and 26.5 to 40 GHz. Two field levels are available; 20 V/m and 50 V/m (both measured at 1m).
