One of the world’s leading experts in product testing and certification, TÜV SÜD Product Service, launched the United Kingdom’s first Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) service that utilizes a single-test platform. The new single-test platform was designed and made in the UK by Aeroflex.
The new TÜV SÜD system is up to 60 percent faster than traditional methods of DFS testing and will ensure that new wireless devices operating in the 5 GHz band do not interfere with military and airport radar systems. The increase in speed will allow for reduced development and marketing time for new products as wireless device and cell phone manufacturers continue to branch out into the less-populated 5GHz range.
