Pasternack Enterprises, Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of RF, microwave and millimeter wave products, has created and published a new set of RF calculators and conversion tools to assist engineers with answering complex RF-related product and design questions that arise on a daily basis.
A group of engineers at Pasternack developed 27 RF calculators. These new calculators were designed to assist engineers with their projects and are said to be easier to use than previous models. Some features of these calculators include: “include link budget, coax impedance, RF power conversion (such as dBm to Watts), attenuation, frequency, wavelength, VSWR/return loss, torque, noise, Free Space Path Loss (FSPL), unit conversion, microstrip and many others.”
Another feature of the calculators is the “Find Related Produts” button – which allows engineers to enter information into the calculator and it then conducts a search of Pasternack products that meet the engineers’ standards.
“This innovative feature allows engineers and buyers to both research and purchase as needed from one location, preventing the hassle of going between numerous sites,” according to the company.
