Tech-Etch, Inc., a company known for producing shielding products for commercial and military markets, announces its new EMI/RFI Shielding Product Guide. The guide is an 8-page brochure with colored pictures, and side-by-side comparisons of all standard products. The compact guide assists design engineers in selecting the most suitable gasket for particular situations.
“The brochure compares mounting, composition, size range, effective compression range, type of seal, contact interface, and performance data for all standard EMI shielding products,” according to the company.
Types of products compared in the product guide include low profile gaskets, variable finger gaskets, connector gaskets, twisted contacts, panel and strip gaskets, track mounted shielding, conductive elastomers, fan vents, filters, honeycomb vents, and more.
