A new line of electromagnetic safety products has been introduced by AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation. These safety products, including meters and sensor heads, offer simpler measurement solutions.
Two new safety meters include the SM40G and SM400K; these meters are used to measure electromagnetic field safety applications. The meters are compact, portable and user-friendly. They maintain a small handheld footprint, operate in a wide range of frequencies, and record temperature and GPS coordinates.
The SM40G is a broadband EM field meter designed for measurement of electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields from DC to 40 GHz. The SM40G offers more than 24 hours of recording time, a start/stop function, and 8 monitoring sequences. In comparison to the maximum of 5,000 samples in other safety meters in the industry, the SM40G can hold a maximum of 21,504 samples.
The other safety meter, the SM400K, is a high-performance hand-held analyzer designed for measurement of electric and magnetic fields. It can operate from DC to 400 kHz.
Sensor heads have also been introduced to go along with the SM400K and SM40G. The sensor heads have automatic sensor head detection, cover frequency ranges from DC to 40 GHz, and are easily interchangeable.
