ProTek Devices has recently released new industry-best TVS arrays called the PAM8S series.
The series provides “circuit protection in various automotive infotainment and other automotive systems,” says the company.
It is “AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications” including “the digital audio tuner, the entertainment system, navigation system and other such vehicle electronics systems,” according to ProTek.
“The components boast a junction passivation optimized design with passivated anisotropic rectifier technology,” according to the company, and “the operating junction temperature is good to 175 degrees Celsius.”
The series also “provides unidirectional configuration, a low forward voltage drop, and high surge capability,” according to ProTek.
ProTek also states that “it provides 6600 watts of peak pulse power per line” and also “meets requirements for the ISO 7637-2 surge specification and for MSL level 1 LF with a maximum peak of 245 degrees Celsius. In addition, the parts are RoHS and REACH compliant.”
