The Single Stage F1800 and Dual stage F2800 series single phase COTS EMI filters operate over extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F) for applications at higher ambient temperature environments. The filters are designed with lower losses to limit filter temperature rise.
COTS filters are rated 115/250 VAC 50/60/400Hz and are available from 5 A to 35 A rated currents, in both general purpose and low current leakage versions. Dielectric withstanding voltage for both series is 1,450 VDC line-to-line and 2,250 VDC line-to-ground before installing discharge resistors.
Depending on the filter current rating, insertion loss for the F1800 and F2800 measured in a 50 ohm system between frequencies of 50 kHz to 30 MHz ranges vary from 10 dB to 50 dB in common mode and 10 dB to 40 dB in differential mode.
