Recently, EDI CON China has announced that Dr. Wai Chen, chief scientist and general manager of IoT at China Mobile, will be the chairman of EDI CON China 2016, taking place 19-21 April, 2016 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing.
“Dr. Wai Chen directs the research and development of Internet of Things (IoT) at China Mobile, where he is the chief scientist of China Mobile Research and the general manager of China Mobile’s Internet of Things Research Institute,” according to EDI CON China.
“EDI CON 2015 highlighted many 5G technologies in the full day 5G Forum and in 2016 will add a technical track dedicated to IoT topics including low power device design, low power wide area networks, design automation/rapid prototyping/Industry 4.0, vehicle-to-vehicle communications/sensing, measurement/modeling challenges, solid-state energy applications and wireless charging/energy harvesting,” EDI CON China added.
