Measurement Specialties has just announced its PT420 – now offers the PT420, a sensor with capabilities of full-scale measurements from 2 to 100 inches. This new sensor is flexible, extremely accurate and contains picture perfect alignment for easy execution. The PT420 includes multiple table tension and numerous options for electrical connections.
“The sensor’s two output signals, 2-wire 4-20 mA and 3-wire 0-20 mA, offer feedback signal linearly proportional to the position of the sensor’s extension cable,” researchers say. It is also extremely productive since it is a classic strong pot design, weighing less than two pounds and smaller than 5 inches in height.
“The PT420 uses a potentiometer that provides an essentially infinite output resolution. Repeatability is ±0.05% full stroke with an accuracy of ±0.15% full stroke for most ranges. The sensor operates from -40°C to +90°C and withstands 10 g of vibration to 2,000 Hz maximum.”
