Pasternack releases its new line of 75 Ohm test cables with operation up to 3 GHz. These cables are rugged, provide a secure connection, and offer a low insertion loss of < 0.5 dB at 3 GHz.
“Our new 75 Ohm test cables provide customers dealing with cable TV media hardware, set top box manufacturers and broadcast engineers a new cost-effective source for high frequency 75 Ohm testing components,” Steve Ellis, product manager at Pasternack, said.
These cables were specifically designed to withstand use in test labs and communication systems. They are ideal for use in engineering labs, production environments, and quality testing facilities.
The cables are available in two configurations: type-N male to type-N male and type-N male to type-F male. They are flexible and are capable of 100,000 bends. They are also armored; the armor meets ANSI/SCTE 99 2009 and ANSI/SCTE 98 2009 standards.
