Multiport Concept Enables Interference-Free Data Cabling

Phoenix Contact has introduced Multiport, a distribution concept that enables interference-free data cabling using Profinet and Ethernet in industrial applications such as welding robots and conveyor systems.The concept combines hybrid multiport distributors and push-pull connectors to allow users to implement a simple, EMC-compliant connection based on the Profinet cabling directive, and shielding prevents interference during data transmission.
