Cuming Microwave has introduced a new microwave absorber for use in cavity resonance suppression from 800 MHz to 18 GHz.
C-RAM RGD-S-192 is a thin, flexible magnetically-loaded silicon absorber used in applications where performance cannot be sacrificed for a thicker material. Standard at 0.040 in. thick, C-RAM RGD-S-192 is ideal for suppressing cavities of microwave modules and other electronic devices where physical space is limited.
“Having a full line of absorbers for our customers to test and consider has always been a focus. The RGD-S-192 provides increased insertion loss performance while still maintaining a low profile. We expect it to be a go-to absorber for many of our customers working in the 800 MHz to 18 GHz range,” Mike Kocsik, general manager of Cuming Microwave, said.
Available standard in 12 in. x 12 in. sheets, C-RAM RGD-S-192 also comes in other thicknesses and custom configurations with a pressure sensitive adhesive.
